Sri Lanka Telecom Talent Development Centre (SLTTDC) constitutes the training delivery arm of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) with a proven history of helping Sri Lanka Telecom over the years to be the number one integrated communications service provider and the leading broadband and backbone infrastructure services provider in the country. The inception of SLTTDC was to serve the sole purpose of developing the human resource of the company, which has eventually expanded to serve professionals of the field and the public. Sri Lanka Telecom, being number one integrated communications service provider in the country, considers sharing the knowledge of its possession and imparting vast practical experience gathered over many years as an honor, as such ventures can create a positive impact on Sri Lanka’s knowledge economy. Through affiliation with reputed qualifying bodies such as City & Guilds and Pearson (UK), Talent Development Center has proven its strength in the higher education sector of the country by opening doors to pursue technician certificates and Higher National Diplomas especially in telecommunication, electronic and electrical fields. Further, Sri Lanka Telecom Talent Development Centre provides many Tertiary and Vocational training courses developed in-house in many fields such as Data communication, IT, Management, etc. The performance of the SLTTDC has been further recognized by the University of Hertfordshire by agreeing to enter in to a franchise agreement with SLTTC to deliver three year Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Degree program. Such Franchise agreement has been signed and three-year degree program are in offer with a proven record of success over the years.
